The Deep Sea DSE8620 DSE8620MKII Genset Controller is an Auto
Mains (Utility) Failure Control Module designed for paralleling single gen sets
(diesel or gas) with the mains (utility) supply. It automatically starts the
generator upon detecting a mains failure and manages the switchover to and from
the mains supply, ensuring an uninterrupted return.
The DSE8620MKII Generator Controller features automatic
synchronizing with a built-in synchroscope and the capability to close onto a
dead bus. It provides direct and flexible outputs for connection to commonly
used speed governors and automatic voltage regulators (AVRs).
This sophisticated module monitors numerous engine parameters
and displays warnings, shutdowns, and engine status information on a back-lit
LCD screen, illuminated LEDs, a remote PC, an audible alarm, and via SMS text
alerts. The DSE8620MKII includes RS232 and RS485 ports, along with dedicated
terminals for system expansion.
Compatible with both electronic (CAN) and non-electronic
(magnetic pick-up/alternator sensing) engines, the Deep Sea DSE8620 Controller
offers numerous flexible inputs, outputs, and extensive engine protections,
making it adaptable to meet the most demanding industry paralleling
requirements.
The modules can be easily configured using the DSE Configuration Suite Software, with selected front panel editing also available.
