MX341 Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) | Stamford Generator Set Spare Parts
The MX341 operates as an analog, 2-phase sensing automatic voltage regulator (AVR) powered by a permanent magnet generator (PMG). It offers isolation from the impact of non-linear loads, enhancing motor starting performance and sustaining short-circuit current. Standardly available with the STAMFORD® P6, STAMFORD® P7, and STAMFORD® S7 alternators, the authenticity of your MX341 can be assured by purchasing it exclusively from an authorized STAMFORD | AvK dealer.

2X AVR MX341 Two-Phase Sensed Automatic Voltage Regulator for Generators:
The MX341 serves as a two-phase sensed Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) and is an integral part of the excitation system for brushless generators. It utilizes a three-phase permanent magnet generator (PMG) to isolate AVR control circuits from nonlinear load effects, minimizing radio frequency interference at the generator terminals. The PMG system also ensures sustained short-circuit current for the generator.
This AVR senses the voltage in the main generator winding, regulating the feed to the exciter stator and main rotor. This action maintains the generator output voltage within specified limits, compensating for load variations, temperature fluctuations, and the generator's power factor.
Additionally, the AVR is equipped with droop CT connection capability, enabling parallel operation with other similarly equipped generators.
